Your use of this site and/or continued subscription to Passport Newsletter represents your consent to these terms and conditions. We reserve the right to change or alter these terms and conditions at any time, without notice.

Subscription Permission. Passport Newsletter is circulated by subscription to consumers. If you are a consumer and you receive Passport Newsletter, it is because you or someone you know subscribed you to our mailing list. We use an "opt-in" policy, which means we obtain permission from the initial subscriber to send the newsletter.

Unsubscribing. If you feel that you have received this newsletter in error and wish to be removed from our mailing list, you will find easy removal instructions at the bottom of each newsletter.

Sample copies. Subscribers are welcome to pass along a single copy of our newsletter to other consumers who they feel might benefit from its content. Alternately, you may invite them visit our website for a sample copy at www.passportnewsletter.com. Please scroll down to read more about restrictions on the use of Passport Newsletter material.

Make sure you receive our mail. Increasingly, Internet Service Providers use filtering systems to prevent "spam" (unauthorized, unsolicited "junk" mail) out of their customers' email in-boxes. In the process, they may also filter out some e-mail that you want to receive.

To make sure that Passport Newsletter and support e-mails are not filtered into your "junk" or "bulk" mail folders, please add Passport Newsletter to your list of trusted senders. Here's how:

Hotmail: Place the domain "Passport Newsletter" in your safe list. The safe list can be accessed via the "Options" link next to the main menu tabs.

AOL: Place the domain "Passport Newsletter" in your address book.

Yahoo! Mail: If Passport Newsletter is filtered to your "bulk" folder, open the message and click on the "this is not spam" link next to the "from" field.

Other providers: If Passport Newsletter newsletter is being filtered, try adding our domain ("Passport Newsletter") to your email address book or contact list. If this option is not available, try moving our email message to your in-box, or forwarding the message to yourself.

If subsequent messages continue to be filtered, contact the tech support department of your Internet Service Provider and ask how you can be sure to receive all e-mail from Passport Newsletter. Follow their instructions for "white-listing" Passport Newsletter.

While we fully support fully anti-spam measures, we regret any inconvenience you may encounter if you need to make these adjustments to receive Passport Newsletter, and we appreciate your cooperation.

Content. We accept no responsibility whatsoever for the content, or legality of any published articles or advertisements contained within Passport Newsletter or its associated website. Although we use all reasonable care to select and edit the articles (based on the value of their content to our readers, and the reputation of the writers who contribute), the nature of travel is that all things are subject to change, alteration, and individual interpretation. Because restaurants, shops, attractions, and even hotels may abruptly cease operating, relocate, close for a season, or be closed for a variety of other reasons, it is always a good idea to call ahead.

Our writers around the world seek subjects they deem worthy of your consideration, but including them here does not constitute a blanket recommendation and we are specifically not responsible for, nor do we guarantee in any respect, your satisfaction with the places and elements of your trip, destination, or modes of travel. Indeed, we do not provide, control, or influence the elements and conditions of your trip, so we cannot guarantee it. Readers are asked to note especially that the passage of time increases the likelihood that the subject of an article, advertisement, comment, or review has changed since it was first published.

Submissions to Passport Newsletter. We welcome receipt of comments and opinions from our subscribers and reserve the right to reproduce them, anonymously, in appropriate format within the Passport Newsletter database.

Unsolicited submission of articles, stories, reviews, illustrations, or photography cannot be returned and will likely not earn a response from our editors, who simply do not have the available time or staff to contend with unsolicited matter. We apologize for any disappointment this may cause. If you are a bona fide writer, travel writer, journalist or photographer based in a global destination we do not presently cover, and you wish to become part of the Passport Newsletter team, please send a brief email to globalteam@passportnewsletter.com.

Public posting. Blogs, forums, bulletin boards are very public venues, and what you say there is not private. Also, anything you disclose to in any blog, forum, bulletin board, or similar venue operated by Passport Newsletter becomes ours. We have the right to reproduce it, disclose it, transmit it, publish it, broadcast it, and even post it someplace else. In addition, we reserve the right to use any ideas, concepts, know-how, or techniques you post any in manner we choose, including developing, manufacturing, providing, and marketing products and services, based on information you have posted. By the way, this is generally true for all blogs, forums, bulletin boards, and similar venues.

Also, we are not responsible for the postings made by others to our site. We reserve the right to remove any posting for any reason whatsoever. Do not post offensive language, unlawful statements, impolite or disrespectful messages on our site.

Please use the same degree of caution, responsibility, and scrutiny for linked sites as you would be expected to use for any site on the Internet.
